Struttin' - er, Strollin' - With The Mutts

Hey, y'all:

Well, we fired up the baby buggy last Sunday an' hit the bricks at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway!

Now, I gotta confess somethin'. After all that pissin' an' moanin' I did, turns out ridin' in the baby buggy wasn't TOO bad. Mom got soaked but me an' O'Mally stayed dry (fer the most part. Dang mesh winduhs!).

Okay, O'Mally, like the bumper sticker says......sit down, shut up, an' HANG ON!!!

Here's us an' Holden (Sal's brother) comin' up on the first turn.

Hold up, bud.....I gotta make a pit stop. My breakfast burrito is fixin' tuh say "ADIOS!".

LITTLE PRIVACY, PLEASE!!!

(Mom's note: Hank exits the port-o-pot twenty minutes later, complains about the lack of reading material, and shouts to passersby "Y'ALL MIGHT NOT WANNA GO IN THERE FER A WHILE!!!")

Hey, y'all check this out! Holden's gonna knock over the can while I keep an eye out fer security! Tee hee!

Okay, enough o' that tomfoolery.......time tuh do some serious struttin' with Sal, Uncle Kev and Aunt Laura. Uh, just in case yer wonderin', Sal's the one in the yellow slicker.

Holden was nice enough tuh hang back with O'Mally an' listen to her yap about her health an' all the medicines she takes an' her favorite show, Matlock, an' senior citizen discounts an' her luv fer cafeteria food.

Finally, we made the whole two and a half miles! WINGO!!!

I'm thinkin' I just might do this again next year. Better start carb loadin' now.

Yep. Mmhmm.

Awww Hank and Molly, our daddy Bruce is soooo jealous! He LIVES for NASCAR. Maybe they'll let us do somethin' like that at Fontucky. But we'll take our rockin' red sports wagon... don't hate.

Looks like you guys had a blast despite the rain and all. Hard not to have fun with Holden and the crew.

Hank dude looks like you had a great time. We love you and Holden trying to cause trouble. Good job warnin folks not to go in that porta pottie after you, pugs can cause more gas than any cars ever on that track. Doesn't seem like the rain slowed you guys down one bit.

Hey Hank! Looks like you had a great time at the Mutt Strut. Since we have an aversion to the wet stuff, Mom & Dad decided against going - maybe next year!

You did have mom laughin' pretty good at the pic of you in the port-o-potty and again at you and Holden getting ready to knock it over!!

Hi Hank! I can't believe you ate a burrito before the Mutt Strutt. You know what that does to yer, um, insides. Next time, go light with the breakfast.

It sure looks like you had a great time despite all the yapping by O'Mally. Maybe next year your mom will get you your own buggie and you and O'Mally can race!

So you can read! It's a miracle, Hank. Your profile says something slightly different. Way to get an education on your own. I just got your mom's comment and I think I'm in love! She says, that your priority order is food first, safety second first. I agree. BOL

Dear Hanky,

Yeah, those buggies aren't quite as bad as they seem. Mom got me (Pearl) one last year. I wasn't too impressed until I realized it comes with treats. Now we call it the Treatmobile and I loves it.

Looks like you had a great time at the speedway. Did you do any betting on the races?
