Hey, y'all:


Thought I'd do my bloggin' in my go-tuh-meetin' suit - I kinda like it!


Just gittin' caught up from the past couple o' weeks. It's been kinda busy around here, but mom's been havin' fun so that's a good thing. (Keeps 'er outta MY hair fer awhile.)

Mom helped git a Lab an' some kinda Pit mix up tuh their new homes in Wisconsin. Now she didn't drive tuh Wisconsin - just as far as Lafayette! Anyhoo, here they are with the gals that did the Kentucky tuh Indiana leg:






I'm sure y'all have seen the other bloggers' pitchers from last weekend when Heather an' Harry paid us a visit. Those two are some fun I tell ya what!






(Yep, you can tell O'Mally is the oldest one there.....look at 'er ready tuh poop out!)


Me, my pal, Sal, Aunt Laura and mom went to the Indy Gift an' Hobby Show out at the fairgrounds last Wednesday tuh meet 'n greet fer KPR.

THEN mom went tuh Providence, Rhode Island this weekend fer some lady-singin' convention and contest so's she could catch up with old friends. (Too bad she didn't wear her Colts gear out there in Patriots country! Ha! Buncha losers!)

Becca's Big Birthday!

Hello, friends!


I see you received your invitation to my birthday party! We're so pleased you could attend- especially since this is my THIRTEENTH birthday! Now my exact birth date isn't known, but I was born in November, 1996. Wow, daddy and mother hadn't even met then!

Unfortunately, my eyesight has gone but I am so blessed to be otherwise healthy. Yep, mother says I am her "low-maintenance" dog. (You gotta love us mixed breeds!) My Beagle nose still works so don't count me out just yet!

Okay, I know you're all hungry so let's break out the CAKE!!! (Settle down now, Puggies....there's plenty for everyone.)






Oh, how I love cake! Mother remembers the first time she ever gave me cake (Twinkie). She says I went "ape sh*t". (Please excuse the language - mother doesn't always speak like a lady.)

Rub a dub dub

Hey, y'all:


Yep, it's that time o' the month. And no, it has nothin' to do with lady cream!

Mom loaded us up in the car this mornin' an' we headed over to Ms. Liz's beauty parlor fer spa day (don't tell Dale an' Jimbo!). Now Ms. Liz is Joe Jack's mom an' she's a real nice gal. Speakin' o' Joe Jack, look at him givin' me crap fer havin' a spa day! That ol' boy needs tuh git in touch with his feminine side. Uh.....not that I'd know anything 'bout that.






Mmmmmm......this soap smells perty.......






Towelin' off is my fav'rite part!






My big sis, Becca, waits fer her turn. (Ms. Liz keeps her crated so she don't wander around an' bump intuh stuff.)







O'Malley got a pawdicure an' not a minute too soon. Boy howdy, that gal could cut glass with them talons!

Molly Update

Hi, bloggers and blogettes:


Sarah here with the latest on Miss O'Mally. Test results show struvite crystals and microalbuminuria in her urine.

Albumin is an important protein that is found in blood, but not normally in the urine of healthy dogs. Microalbuminuria is the presence of small amounts of albumin in urine. Finding small amounts of albumin in the urine MAY indicate underlying health problems, and MAY be an early warning signal of renal (kidney) damage or disease.

There are several conditions that can cause microalbuminuria (diabetes, high blood pressure, inflammatory diseases), but since her blood work is otherwise normal, we're not sure why she has it. The struvite crystals are a result of all the bladder infections she's had.

Anyhoo, she is now on a blood pressure pill, an anti-inflammatory and her usual pee pee pill. Her new diet consists of a boiled eggwhite and Hill's prescription s/d kibble. I am happy to say she loves it!

While she does not have "confirmed" kidney disease, I wouldn't be surprised if it progresses to this. (She is a geriatric canine, you know!) However, her medications and diet should make her condition manageable for some time. Most importantly, she is happy and is active!

Singin' the Bladder Blues

Hi, everybody......sigh.......


Molly O'Mally here. Remember my bladder surgery in August? Well, I'm sorry to say that things still aren't right. For some reason, my bladder is not getting "the signal" to do it's thing. I can still pee pee - just not as much as I should.

Mommy has found a wonderful vet who knows a lot about Pugs. We visited him last weekend so he could "drain my main vein". I feel better, for now, but I keep getting full of pee pee and my breath smells like an outhouse. That's not good! Blech!







Anyway, mommy and I are waiting for a call from the doctor. He said he wanted to consult with a veterinary urologist at Purdue University. We sure hope they can figure this out!

Speaking of sickyness, mommy's not been feeling well.....some kind of nasty head cold that's moved into her chest. She sounds like a pack of howling wolves when she coughs.

Yeah, she's what you kids call "a hot mess".

Hi, everybody!


It's everyone's favorite single lady, Molly O'Mally!


I am SOOOOO excited! Mommy went shopping yesterday with Aunt Laura. While mommy was whining about not being a size six anymore, Aunt Laura found me a jacket and dress!
(Sheeeesh, mommy.....how long has it BEEN since you were a size six??? Ninety-eleven years??? Get over it, already!)


Anyway, back to ME. Some of us have maintained our girlish figures and are proud to show off the goods!!!
